Seasons greetings to all! I’m in full swing of the holidays and loving these feelings of generosity, family, and friendship! Maybe a little TOO much, as I have not gotten a chance to share my holiday recipes with you all until now. So we’re going to have a couple of back-to-back posts on The Greek Glutton today and tomorrow! It’s an indulgent time of the year, so why not indulge on my recipes, RIGHT??!! So here come the Christmas Chocolate Covered Pretzels!!
Despite this being an awesome time of the year, this year’s holidays have been REALLY REALLY FRUSTRATING as we’re currently remodeling our kitchen!! Will have to show you guys before and after pictures once it’s completed. It’ll be really awesome when it’s finished, but for now OUR FRIDGE IS IN THE LIVING ROOM! And needless to say, we’re without a stove or oven….
But these NO COOK NO BAKE Christmas Chocolate Covered Pretzels are the perfect solution to this dilemma! And for those of you who need to give last minute Christmas gifts 
OR, in my case, for those of us who invite very very hungry friends to our house and have nothing else to feed them except for a fridge full of Christmas Chocolate Covered Pretzels.
And here are some of my all time favorite recipes, which also happen to be holiday recipes too! Greek Christmas bread, Greek yule log cake, Kourabiedes snowball cookies, Melomakarona honey-walnut cookies, and chocolate-covered Melomakarona!

The Greek Glutton
Yields 50 small pretzels

Save RecipeIngredients
- Big bag of pretzels
- 20 oz / 600 gr white chocolate chips
- Ziplock bags or piping bags
- Food coloring
- Sprinkle and other decorations (optional)
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Place the white chocolate chips in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power
- Stir the mixture (it should be halfway melted)
- Microwave another 30 seconds and stir. Any remaining white chocolate chips will melt as you stir
- Divide the white chocolate into 3 bowls
- Add red food coloring to the second bowl and stir, and add green food coloring to the third bowl and stir
- Spoon 1/2 of the white chocolate into a Ziplock bag, press out any air and seal (or use a piping bag)
- Spoon 1/2 of the red chocolate into a Ziplock bag, press out any air and seal (or use a piping bag)
- Spoon 1/2 of the green chocolate into a Ziplock bag, press out any air and seal (or use a piping bag)
- By now you should have 1 ziplock/piping bag of white chocolate, 1 ziplock/piping bag of red chocolate, and 1 ziplock/piping bag of green chocolate, and the 3 bowls
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Use your fingers/a fork/chopsticks to dip the pretzels into the bowls of chocolate
- Delicately place the covered pretzels on the parchment paper
- Cut a tiny hole in the corner of each Ziplock bag (or just use a piping bag)
- Draw lines across the pretzels, or in any design you wish
- Decorate with sprinkles and/or other decorations (optional)
- Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to harden
- Store them for up to a week in a container in the fridge
- Enjoy!
Notes
Melting white chocolate can be tricky, as it burns faster than regular chocolate. This is why you should reduce the microwave power to 50% to melt it more slowly. I used the Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers and the chocolate came out smooth and perfect.
